
Dr. John Momanyi Ongubo (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer attached to Mogadishu University Postgraduate and Research Section for the last 15 years. He supports the University administration through Human resource and strategic extended to partnerships with an aim of positioning Mogadishu University as global higher institution of learning. Dr. Momanyi has concrete experience of the humanitarian world; he consults with the Qatar Charity, UNHCR and UNICEF on Programming, research, Collaboration, and Partnership at Qatar Charity (Kenya) since June 2016. He plays a crucial role in integrating various programs to align with the organization’s mission, leveraging his extensive project management experience. His leadership and strategic oversight are critical in driving the success of the initiatives under his purview, as he works collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes. As an expert in strategy, he is instrumental in designing and developing the IIDEMIC project’s sustainability strategies under Mogadishu University to ensure that Work package 7 is effectively delivered. In his current role, Dr. Momanyi oversees project operations, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines while collaborating with stakeholders to achieve impactful results. Through his research efforts, Dr. Momanyi continues to make a meaningful difference in the academic world.
