Dr.Francis Gichuki Mwangi is a lecturer and faculty member in the Department of Educational Communication and Technology, Kenyatta University. Kenya. His area of specialization is Language Education with 25 years of teaching and research. He serves as a co-researcher in the IIDEMIC Project. He developed Module 3 Strategies of Promoting Cultural Diversity and Module 4 Applying Democratic Practices for Inclusivity in Teaching all for the IIDEMIC Project. He has also contributed immensely in mentoring and training of teacher participants, drafting Project reports and writing and proofreading of manuscripts for publication. His experience as an e-learning Coordinator at the university will come in handy during the preparation of online reading materials for the IIDEMIC Project. He has widely published in international journals in the area of extensive reading and decline of reading culture in our society.
