
Hassan Sheikh Ahmed is a lecturer at Mogadishu University in Mogadishu, Somalia. He has over thirty years’ experience teaching, training and guiding prospective English teachers and university students of other academic disciplines; developing their professional knowledge and English language proficiency. He has worked in the higher education sector in universities located in three Eastern African countries: Kenya, Uganda, and Somalia. The unifying philosophy and thinking behind his work as an educationist is seeking and fostering the nexus between a human-centred epistemology and a wholesome learning-centred education that benefits learners and promotes the overall well-being of human beings. He is the Lead Author for the Course 3: English for Teaching in a Multilingual Context.
