
Ahmed Omar Moalim is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences and Director of Internal Audit at Mogadishu University, Somalia, with over 10 years of leadership in audit, finance, and compliance. His expertise spans financial governance, regulatory alignment, and institutional capacity building.
Within the IIDEMIC project, Mr. Ahmed leads content development for digital dissemination, creating materials for the project’s website and social media to achieve its mission of inclusive education. He supports financial operations by assisting in payroll timesheet preparations, budget monitoring, and financial reporting. Additionally, he aids the project coordinator in administrative coordination and stakeholder collaboration.
Mr. Ahmed has contributed to a high-impact projects with UNICEF, UNDP, and the World Bank, focusing on public financial management and educational capacity development. He is an ACCA Affiliate, and holds an MBA in Islamic Banking and Finance.
