
Abdiwale Sheikh Mohamed is a faculty member at the Faculty of Education and Humanities at Mogadishu University, where he also serves as the Director of the Quality Assurance Department. He holds an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Nairobi and an M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy from Mogadishu University.
With extensive experience in teaching, academic leadership, and curriculum development, he has made significant contributions to advancing language education and teacher training. He co-authored English and Somali language modules for in-service and pre-service teachers under the SCOTTPS and Cilmidoon projects, implemented by Mogadishu University. More recently, he co-authored the module “Teaching English in a Multilingual Context” as part of the IIDEMIC Project.
His expertise spans language education, teacher training, international relations, and quality assurance, with a strong focus on driving academic excellence and fostering professional development. Passionate about education and community engagement, he is fluent in a number of languages.
